It looks like Flying Motorcycles, previously known as "gyro-copters", will come first - before flying cars. In many ways, they've already been with us since the 1960s.

Flying Motorcycles make perfect sense if you consider the crash test and materials rigour of automobile approval which can all be averted - if you can just call them "motorcycles"!

Some of you might recognize these flying motorcycles as derivations of the Benson Gyrocopters that came to fame in the late 1960s. Advances in metallurgy and design have improved reliability, comfort, and safety until we may have the first glympses of what our first flying cars will look like.
